Alderney
Alderney este cea mai nordică dintre Insulele Canalului. Face parte din Bailiwick din Guernsey, o dependență britanică. Este de 3 mile lungime și 1,5 mile lățime. Zona este de 3 kilometri pătrați, fiind cea de-a treia cea mai mare insulă a Insulelor Channel, și cea de-a doua cea mai mare din Bailiwick. Se află la aproximativ 10 mile la vest de La Hague, pe Peninsula Cotentin, în Normandia, în Franța, la 20 de mile nord-est de Guernsey și la 60 de mile de coasta de sud a Marii Britanii. Este cea mai apropiată dintre Insulele Canalului, atât Franța, cât și Regatul Unit. Este separat de Cap de la Haga de rasa periculoasă din Alderney. Începând cu luna aprilie 2013, insula are o populație de 1.903 de persoane și sunt, în mod tradițional, porecla vacă după vaci, sau altcineva după multe iepuri văzute pe insulă. Formal, ele sunt cunoscute sub numele de Ridunians, din latina Riduna. Singura parohie din Alderney este parohia Sfântei Anne, care acoperă întreaga insulă. Orașul principal, St Anne, este denumit "St Anne's". Are o biserică impunătoare și o stradă cu pietre nestemate.
