AMBIDEXTRIE
Ambidexteritatea este starea de a fi la fel de adept în utilizarea atât a apendicelor stânga și dreaptă. Este una dintre cele mai renumite soiuri de dominare transversală. Persoanele care sunt ambidextroase în mod natural sunt mai puțin frecvente, cu doar o singură persoană dintr-o sută de persoane fiind în mod natural ambidextroasă. Gradul de versatilitate cu fiecare mână este, în general, factorul calitativ în determinarea ambidexterității unei persoane. În vremurile moderne, este mai frecvent să se găsească oameni considerați ambidextroși care au fost inițial stângaci și care au învățat să fie ambidextroși, fie în mod deliberat, fie în timpul instituțiilor din copilărie, cum ar fi școlile sau locuri de muncă unde obiceiurile drepte sunt adesea subliniate sau necesare.
