Bobsleigh sau bobsul este un sport de iarnă în care echipe de două sau patru fac timeline rulează piste înguste, răsucite, înghesuite, înghețate într-o sanie de tip gravitațional. Run-urile temporizate sunt combinate pentru a calcula scorul final. Diferitele tipuri de sanie au venit cu câțiva ani înainte ca primele piste să fi fost construite în St. Moritz, Elveția, unde bobocii originali au fost adaptați la sărituri luigene / scheletice proiectate de aventurosii bogați pentru a transporta pasageri. Toate cele trei tipuri au fost adaptate de la săniile de băiat și de la săniile de tobogan. O alta definitie a bobsleigh-ului este o sania construita din doua sani scurte care s-au unit una in spatele celeilalte. Bobsleigh este, de asemenea, una dintre aceste două săniuțe scurte.
