Cafea
Cafeaua este o băutură preparată din semințele prăjite sau coapte ale mai multor specii de arbust veșnic verde din genul Coffea. Cele două surse cele mai obișnuite de boabe de cafea sunt Coffea arabica și forma "robusta" a Coffea caneforă. Acesta din urmă este rezistent la rugina frunzei de cafea, dar are un gust mai amar. Plantele de cafea sunt cultivate în mai mult de 70 de țări, în special în America Latină Ecuatorie, Asia de Sud-Est și Africa. Odată coapte, boabele de cafea sunt prelucrate, procesate și uscate pentru a obține semințele din interior.
