Cornwall este o zonă județeană și unică a autorităților din Anglia, în Regatul Unit. Cornwall este o peninsulă mărginită la nord și vest de Marea Celtică, la sud de Canalul Mânecii, și la est de județul Devon, peste râul Tamar. Cornwall are o populație de 536.000 și acoperă o suprafață de 3.563 km2. Centrul administrativ, și numai orașul din Cornwall, este Truro, deși orașul St Austell are cea mai mare populație. Cornwall formează partea cea mai vestică din peninsula sud-vestică a insulei Marii Britanii, iar o mare parte din batholitul cornubian se află în Cornwall. Această zonă a fost locuită pentru prima dată în perioadele paleolitic și mezolit. A continuat să fie ocupată de popoarele neolitice și apoi de bronzii, iar mai târziu de Brythons cu relații culturale distincte cu țările vecine Țara Galilor și Bretania. Există puține dovezi că guvernarea romană era efectivă la vest de Exeter și că au fost găsite câteva rămășițe romane.
