Hades
Hades a fost zeul antic grec al lumii interlope. În cele din urmă, numele zeului a venit pentru a desemna moștenirea morților. În mitologia greacă, Hades este cel mai mare copil de sex masculin de la Cronus și Rhe, având în vedere ordinea nașterii de la mamă sau cea mai tânără, având în vedere regurgitarea de către tată. În tradiția mitologică ulterioară, deși nu în antichitate, el este asociat cu Clemă de Întuneric și cu Bidentul. Termenul hades în teologia creștină este paralel cu șeul evreu și se referă la moștenirea morților.
