Liturghie
Liturghia este închinarea publică obișnuită făcută de un anumit grup religios, în funcție de tradițiile sale specifice. Cuvântul, uneori redat de serviciul său de traducere în limba engleză, se poate referi la un ritual formal elaborat, cum ar fi Liturghia ortodoxă ortodoxă și Liturghia catolică, sau o activitate zilnică precum salatul musulman și serviciile evreiești. Ca fenomen religios, liturgia este un răspuns comun la sacru prin activitate care reflectă laudă, mulțumire, rugăminte sau pocăință. Ritualizarea poate fi asociată cu evenimente de viață, cum ar fi nașterea, apariția vârstei, căsătoria și moartea.
