Reprobarea, în teologia creștină, este un corolar al doctrinei calviniste sau în mare măsură augustinian a alegerilor necondiționate, care învață că omenirea este predestinată de Dumnezeu pentru mântuire. Prin urmare, restul sunt lăsați legați de natura lor căzută și de o anumită îndoială. Aceeași stare a necredinței este cunoscută și sub numele de reprobare. În terminologia calvinistă, cei neelectați sunt deseori numiți "reprobați". În mod similar, atunci când un păcătos este atât de întărit încât să nu simtă nici o remușcare sau rătăcire a conștiinței, este considerat un semn de reprobare. Cuvântul englez, reprobat, provine din probare latină, și astfel derivă din latină, reprobatus, opusul lui approbatus.
