În terminologia militară, o echipă este o mică unitate militară condusă de un subofițer subordonat unui pluton de infanterie. În țările care urmează tradiția Armatei Britanice, această organizație este menționată ca o secțiune. În majoritatea armatelor, o echipă este formată din opt până la paisprezece soldați și poate fi subîmpărțită în focuri de artificii.
