Tapai este un tip de gustare din orez lipicios. Există 2 tipuri de tapai de exemplu tapai ubi și pulai pulai. De obicei tapai bubuk este mai popular în comparație cu tapai tubi. Ingredientele pentru fabricarea tapai nu sunt prea complicate. Luna de miere are nevoie de ingrediente cum ar fi orezul lipicios, drojdia si putin zahar. Aceste trei ingrediente ar trebui amestecate. Apoi se va împacheta ușor folosind o frunză numită frunze de tapai. Dar, în acest moment, frunzele de tapai sunt din ce în ce mai rare și majoritatea tapai sunt înfășurate în frunze de banane. Există o mică diferență între tapai înfășurat cu frunze de tapai și tapai înfășurat cu frunze de banane. Macelele pregătite sunt așezate în borcane mari și acoperite cu o cârpă. Odată fermentat și depozitat timp de 3 zile, tocanul se va găti și apoi se va mânca. Sala de gătit produce apă foarte dulce. Tapaiul poate fi băut și poate fi utilizat și ca medicament tradițional. Persoanele în vârstă au și tabuuri atunci când încearcă să facă tapai.
