Ayrıştırma ya da sözdizimsel analiz, biçimsel bir dilbilgisinin kurallarına göre doğal dilde ya da bilgisayar dillerinde bir dizi sembolü analiz etme sürecidir. Ayrıştırma terimi, kısmi anlamda Latince parsdan gelmektedir. Terim, dilbilim ve bilgisayar biliminin farklı dallarında biraz farklı anlamlara sahiptir. Geleneksel cümle ayrıştırma, çoğunlukla bir cümlenin tam anlamını anlama yöntemi olarak, bazen cümle şemaları gibi aygıtların yardımıyla gerçekleştirilir. Genellikle konu ve yüklem gibi gramer bölümlerinin önemini vurgular.
