Her ayetin ilkel formu, üç ayet monorrimos'u izler, ardından da refrakterin ünsüzlerinin tekrarlandığı başka bir ayettir. En el diccionario castellano estribote significa composición poética antigua en estrofas con estribillo. La forma primitiva de cada estrofa consiste en tres versos monorrimos seguidos de otro verso en que se repite el consonante del estribillo.
