Kontraposition
In der Logik ist die Kontraposition ein Gesetz, das besagt, dass eine bedingte Aussage logisch äquivalent zu ihrem kontrapositiven ist. Der Konflikt der Aussage hat ihre Vorgänger und Konsequenz umgekehrt und umgedreht: das Gegenteil ist also. Zum Beispiel kann der Satz "Alle Fledermäuse sind Säugetiere" als die Bedingung "Wenn etwas ist eine Fledermaus, dann ist es ein Säugetier". Nun, das Gesetz sagt, dass Aussage ist identisch mit dem contrapositive "Wenn etwas ist kein Säugetier, dann ist es keine Fledermaus." Das Gegengewicht kann mit drei anderen Beziehungen zwischen bedingten Aussagen verglichen werden: ▪ Inversion:. "Wenn etwas nicht eine Fledermaus ist, dann ist es kein Säugetier." Anders als der Gegenspieler ist der Wahrheitswert der Umkehrung überhaupt nicht davon abhängig, ob der ursprüngliche Satz wahr war, wie es hier belegt ist. Die umgekehrte hier ist eindeutig nicht wahr ▪ Umwandlung:. "Wenn etwas ein Säugetier ist, dann ist es eine Fledermaus." Das Gegenteil ist eigentlich das Gegenteil des Inversen und hat also immer denselben Wahrheitswert wie das Inverse, das nicht notwendigerweise das gleiche wie das ursprüngliche Satz ist. ▪ Negation :.
