Die früheren Tarife enthielten aufwendige Tabellen über die Nachteile, die bei der Ausfuhr oder Wiederausfuhr von Waren zulässig waren, aber soweit das Vereinigte Königreich betroffen ist, hat das System der gebundenen Lager die Nachteile praktisch abgeschafft, da die Waren bis zur Ausfuhr gelagert werden können.
