Mops
Der Mops ist eine Rasse des Hundes mit einem faltigen, kurzmündigen Gesicht und gekräuselten Schwanz. Die Rasse hat einen feinen, glänzenden Mantel, der in einer Vielzahl von Farben kommt, obgleich meistens Kitz oder Schwarzes und ein kompakter quadratischer Körper mit gut entwickelten Muskeln. Pugs wurden aus China nach Europa im sechzehnten Jahrhundert gebracht und wurden in Westeuropa durch das Haus der Oranien der Niederlande und das Haus von Stuart popularisiert. Pugs als Zuchttiere können zur englischen Bulldogge, dem modernen Pekingese und dem Königcharles Spaniel beigetragen haben. Pugs bleiben populär in das einundzwanzigste Jahrhundert, mit einigen berühmten Berühmtheitseigentümern. Ein Pug wurde am besten bei der World Dog Show im Jahr 2004 beurteilt.
