Weltbevölkerung ist die Summe aller menschlichen Populationen zu jeder Zeit; Ebenso ist die Weltwirtschaft die Summe der Volkswirtschaften aller Gesellschaften, vor allem im Kontext der Globalisierung. Begriffe wie Weltmeisterschaft, Brutto-Weltprodukt, Weltflaggen etc. bedeuten auch die Summe oder Kombination aller heutigen souveränen Staaten.
