WHAT DOES KREPLACH MEAN IN GERMAN?

Kreplach or Kreplech are treated with a liver infestation or, For example beef stuffed pasta. The traditional dish of Ashkenazi-Jewish cuisine resembles the Italian ravioli or the Swabian Maultaschen. For the preparation first a pasta dough is made from flour, egg, oil and water, thinly rolled and cut into handbread or narrower strips. For the filling cattle or calf's liver and onions are cut into small pieces of poultry fat, and they are turned with a hard-boiled egg through the mincer. The resulting mass is seasoned with salt, pepper and garlic. Finally, the mass is placed in portions on the pastry strips, these are folded into pockets and cooked in slightly boiling salt water. The Kreplach are immediately served or first fried briefly in oil or poultry fat, which gives them additional spice. According to the Jewish dietary laws, this court prohibits the use of butter, since otherwise milky would be mixed with meat.
