Goods Receipt
As a part of the material management process, the goods receipt is the acceptance of delivered goods, the necessary inspection of the goods, the documentation, the passing on of the goods as well as the forwarding of the input data. A goods delivery is called a goods issue. The goods delivered by the supplier are checked at the identification point, ie checks are carried out for deficiencies in quantity, correctness, quality and further, and, if necessary, for the regulation of the damage or for a return. It is obligatory for merchants to check the received goods immediately for completeness and deficiencies and, if necessary, to complain, otherwise the quantity stated in the delivery note shall be deemed delivered and harmless. Except hidden or hidden defects, there are legal reprimands. In the case of an optically recognizable damage to the goods, an assumption can be refused. If the goods are in perfect condition, the consignee confirms the receipt of the consignment on the freight letter. The consignor has the obligation to unload the goods from the freight contract.
