Lala Mustafa Pasha Mosque 【Lala Mustafa Pa \u0026 # x015F; a Mosque】 Islamic temple located in Famagusta, a port town in northern Cyprus. Formerly the St. Nikola Cathedral built in the French-style Gothic style in the 14th century under the rule of the French Rusinian family. In the 16th century, under the rule of the Ottoman Empire, it was diverted to an Islamic temple. Since then, it was called Hagia Sophia of Magusa (Famagusta's Turkish name), but in the mid-20th century, it was changed to the current name bearing the Ottoman Army Commander Lara-Mustafa-Pasha who contributed to the Cyprus capture.
