Umm ar - Rasas] An archaeological site in the western part of Jordan. The name of the Umayya era is Castron Meefer. It is located about 30 kilometers southeast of Madaba. The ancient Roman Empire, the Eastern Roman Empire, fortifications and churches built under the rule of the early Muslim dynasty, etc. On the floor of St. Stephen's Church, built in the 8th century, it is famous for having good preserved mosaics depicting the towns such as Madaba and Gaza.
