Yangtze crocodile
양쯔강악어
The Yangtze crocodile belongs to the alligator family and lives in the mouth of the Yangtze River in China. The crocodile is about 1.5 to 2 meters in length and is the closest species to the Mississippi crocodile. The color of the body is green, green, with yellow spots and horizontal streaks on the sides. Young crocodiles have distinct black and yellow spots. The tip of the snout is rounded and short and the lips are pointing upward.
