Red
Red is any one color in a number of similar colors at the lowest light frequencies that can be seen with the human eye. Red light has a wavelength range between about 630 - 760 nanometers. Lower frequency is called infrared. Red is the primary color of the additive and complementary color for the cyan color. This red color is considered a subtractive primary color at one time, and sometimes it is still described in some non-science libraries; however, the colors of cyan, magenta and yellow are now known to be closer to the true subtractive primary color that is detected with the eye and therefore, has been used in modern color printing. One of the uses of red as the primary color of the additive is the RGB color model. Because "red" is not a standard color for him, the color mix based on the red color is not just an exact color specification. To produce the right colors, the red color must be defined in terms of absolute color space such as sRGB.
