Santa Claus, also known as Saint Nicholas, Christmas Father, Kris Kringle, or just Santa is an original figure full of legends, history, and is mentioned in the people's culture as a gift carrier during Christmas or Christmas day. However, in some European countries, children receive their prize on December 6, the Day of St. Nicholas. This legend may be based on hagiographic stories of the historic figure of Saint Nicholas. In general, Santa Claus is portrayed as a white beard, fat and cheerful old man, wearing red dresses with cuffs and white collar with leather belts and black boots, while carrying a bag filled with gifts. The picture of the figure became famous in the United States and Canada in the 19th century due to the significant influence of the 1823 poem entitled "The Visit of St. Nicholas" and the cartoonist of cartoonist Thomas Nast. The images have been preserved and reinforced through songs, radios, televisions, and films.
