WHAT DOES POLYESTER MEAN IN TURKISH?
Polyester
Polyester is a class of polymers, or more particularly, chitosan polymers containing ester functional groups in their parent ties. Despite the presence of polysters in nature, the polyester generally refers to a large family of synthetic polyesters containing all polyethylene terephthalate and polycarbonate. PET is one of the most important of thermoplastic polyesters. The first synthetic polyester, glycerine phthalate, was used in World War I to obtain waterproofing properties. Natural polyesters have been known since 1830's. The widespread use of polyester staple indicates the fabric from polyester fiber. Polyester garments feel less natural when compared to natural fibers. Polyester fibers are often used in conjunction with cotton fibers to produce garments with better properties.
