In the practice of treatment of dysentery along with sulfamides, antibiotics are also successfully used - syntomicin, levomitsetin (Micr., XVIII, 4, 1956, 27). левоміцетин, у, ч. Антибіотик, який уживається для лікування дизентерії, коклюшу та інших захворювань. В практиці лікування дизентерії поряд а сульфамідами з успіхом застосовуються і антибіотики — синтоміцин, левоміцетин (Мікр. ж., XVIII, 4, 1956, 27).
