Ghetto

Un ghetto fait partie d'une ville où vivent les membres d'un groupe minoritaire, surtout en raison de la pression sociale, juridique ou économique. Le terme a été utilisé à l'origine à Venise pour décrire la partie de la ville à laquelle les juifs étaient restreints et séparés. A ghetto is a part of a city in which members of a minority group live, especially because of social, legal, or economic pressure. The term was originally used in Venice to describe the part of the city to which Jews were restricted and segregated.
