Samar

Samar - élément chimique, lanthane. Le nom vient du minéral dont il a été isolé en 1879 par un chimiste français, Paul Lecoq de Boisbaudran, Samarskite 35O16. Samar se trouve dans la croûte terrestre à 7,9 ppm. Il a été découvert en 1853 par le chimiste suisse Jean Charles Galissard de Marignac lors de l'examen spectroscopique du doydymus. Le minéral le plus important du samarium est constitué par les monocytes PO4 - souvent présents dans les dépôts friables sous forme de sable de monacite.

Samar – pierwiastek chemiczny, lantanowiec. Nazwa pochodzi od minerału, z którego został wyizolowany w 1879 r. przez francuskiego chemika, Paula Lecoq de Boisbaudrana – samarskitu 35O16. Samar występuje w skorupie ziemskiej w ilości 7,9 ppm. Został odkryty w 1853 r. przez szwajcarskiego chemika Jeana Charles'a Galissard de Marignaca podczas analizy spektroskopowej dydymu. Najważniejszym minerałem samaru jest monacyt PO4 – występujący często w złożach okruchowych jako piasek monacytowy.
