In medicina, un coma è uno stato di incoscienza che dura più di sei ore, in cui una persona: non può essere risvegliata; Non risponde normalmente a stimoli dolorosi, leggeri o suoni; Manca un normale ciclo di sonno-sveglia; E, non avviare azioni volontarie.
