La costrizione è un metodo utilizzato da varie specie di serpenti per uccidere la loro preda. Anche se alcune specie di serpenti velenosi e leggermente velenosi usano la costrizione per sottomettere la loro preda, la maggior parte dei serpenti che usano la costrizione manca il veleno.
