Nella chimica, una miscela è un sistema materiale composto da due o più sostanze diverse che sono mescolate ma non sono combinate chimicamente. Una miscela si riferisce alla combinazione fisica di due o più sostanze sulle quali le identità sono conservate e sono mescolate sotto forma di soluzioni, sospensioni e colloidi. Le miscele sono l'unico prodotto di miscelazione meccanica o miscelazione di sostanze chimiche come elementi e composti, senza legame chimico o altro cambiamento chimico, in modo che ogni sostanza ingrediente conservi le proprie proprietà chimiche e il suo trucco. Nonostante non ci siano cambiamenti chimici ai suoi componenti, le proprietà fisiche di una miscela, come il suo punto di fusione, possono differire da quelle dei componenti. Alcune miscele possono essere separate nei loro componenti mediante mezzi fisici.
