Um nômade, é um membro de uma comunidade de pessoas que vivem de um lugar para outro. Entre as várias formas em que os nômades se relacionam com seu meio ambiente, pode-se distinguir o caçador-coletor, o nômade pastoral que possui gado ou o nômade peripatetico "moderno".
