Synchro
Uma sincronia é, de fato, um transformador cujo acoplamento primário para secundário pode ser variado alterando fisicamente a orientação relativa dos dois enrolamentos. Sincronas são freqüentemente usadas para medir o ângulo de uma máquina rotativa, como uma plataforma de antena. Em sua construção física geral, é muito parecido com um motor elétrico.
