Uma voluta é uma espiral, ornamento em forma de pergaminho que constitui a base da ordem iônica, encontrada na capital da coluna iônica. Quatro são normalmente encontrados em uma capital iônica, oito em capitais compostos e versões menores na capital do Corinthian. A palavra deriva da voluta latina.
