Anormal é um conjunto subjetivo de características, dado a eles em estado de febre ou raridade. Definir quem é normal e anormal é a questão que é contestada em psicologia anormal. Existem alguns critérios comuns. Um critério simples é raramente estatisticamente. Tem uma desvantagem - o mais inteligente, honesto ou feliz é o mesmo que anormal, caso contrário. Assim, hábitos anormais são considerados estatisticamente e indesejáveis. Os critérios mais detalhados são inquietos. Alguém que mostra depressão, preocupações, mau humor, etc., é considerado anormal.
