CE ÎNSEAMNĂ ARCHIVE ÎN ENGLEZĂ?
Arhiva
O arhivă este o acumulare a înregistrărilor istorice sau a locului fizic în care se află. Arhivele conțin documente primare sursă care s-au acumulat pe parcursul unei vieți individuale sau a unei organizații și sunt păstrate pentru a arăta funcția acestei persoane sau organizații. Profesioniștii arhiviști și istoricii înțeleg, în general, că arhivele sunt înregistrări generate în mod natural și în mod necesar ca produse ale unor activități juridice, comerciale, administrative sau sociale regulate. Acestea au fost definite metaforic ca "secrețiile unui organism" și se deosebesc de documentele scrise sau create în mod conștient pentru a comunica un mesaj special posterității. În general, arhivele constau din înregistrări care au fost selectate pentru conservarea permanentă sau pe termen lung pe baza valorii lor culturale, istorice sau probatorii. Înregistrările de arhivă sunt în mod normal nepublicate și aproape întotdeauna unice, spre deosebire de cărți sau reviste pentru care există multe copii identice.
Definiția archive în dicționarul Engleză
Prima definiție a arhivei în dicționar este o colecție de înregistrări despre sau despre o instituție, o familie, etc. O altă definiție a arhivei este un loc în care sunt păstrate astfel de înregistrări. Arhiva este, de asemenea, datele transferate pe o bandă sau disc pentru stocarea pe termen lung, mai degrabă decât utilizarea frecventă.
