O zi este termenul folosit în afacerea britanică pentru o întâlnire, deseori a unui întreg departament, proiect sau echipa de vânzări, care are loc în afara locației și departe de împrejurimile obișnuite ale biroului participanților, de obicei pentru o zi întreagă sau, uneori, pentru un week-end. Cu toate acestea, se poate face referire la o întâlnire în timpul zilei într-o cameră fără ferestre din incintă. Intenția este aceea de a permite întâlnirii să se concentreze asupra sarcinii particulare, fără ca participanții să fie distrași de cerințele care, în cazul în care ședința au avut loc la locul de muncă, ar fi, în mod normal, făcute în atenția lor în virtutea funcțiilor lor.
