Fetlock este numele comun pentru articulațiile metacarpofalangeale și metatarsofalangiene ale cailor, animalelor mari și, uneori, câinilor. Se formează prin joncțiunea celei de-a treia oase proximale metacarpale sau metatarsale și a falangelului proximal. Oasele sesamoidale proximale articulate se articulează cu suprafața distală palmar sau plantară a celei de-a treia oase metacarpale sau metatarsale și sunt fixate rigid pe marginea proximo-palmar / plantare a falangiei proximale. Fetlocul este o îmbinare articulată, permițând flexia și extensia, dar o rotație minimă, aducătoare sau răpire. În timp ce uneori fetlock-ul este denumit colocviu ca "gleznă", chiar și de experți în cal, această terminologie nu este corectă.
