Difuzor
Un difuzor este un traductor electroacustic care produce sunet ca răspuns la o intrare electrică a semnalului audio. Cu alte cuvinte, difuzoarele transformă semnalele electrice în semnale sonore. Difuzoarele non-electrice au fost dezvoltate ca accesorii pentru sistemele telefonice, dar amplificarea electronică prin difuzoare cu tuburi vidate a fost mai utilă în general. Cel mai popular vorbitor folosit astăzi este vorbitorul dinamic. Difuzorul dinamic funcționează pe același principiu de bază ca și un microfon dinamic. Sistemele de difuzoare mai mari sunt utilizate pentru muzică, pentru amplificarea sunetului în teatre și concerte și în sistemele de difuzare publică.
