O moleculă / mɒlɪkjuːl / este un grup neutru din punct de vedere electric de doi sau mai mulți atomi, care sunt ținuți împreună prin legături chimice. Moleculele se disting de ioni prin lipsa lor de sarcină electrică. Cu toate acestea, în fizica cuantică, chimia organică și biochimia, molecula de termen este adesea folosită mai puțin strict, fiind de asemenea aplicată ionilor poliatomici.
