Mottled Umber este o molie a familiei Geometridae. Este o specie comună în regiunea Palearctic și în Orientul Apropiat. Adulții sunt activi din septembrie până în decembrie, iar bărbații sunt atrasi de lumină. Larva este, de asemenea, foarte variabilă de la cremă la maro închis.
