Polemică
Un polemic / pəlɛmɪk / este un argument controversat care are ca scop stabilirea adevărului unei înțelegeri specifice și a falsității poziției contrare. Polemica este văzută mai ales în argumente despre subiecte foarte controversate. Arta sau practica unei asemenea argumentări se numesc polemici. O persoană care scrie adesea polemici sau care vorbește polemic este un polemic sau o polemică. Cuvântul este derivat din grecul πολεμικός, adică "războinic, ostil", care provine din "war", "război".
