Definiția reflexive în dicționarul Engleză
Prima definiție a reflexivului în dicționar denotă o clasă de pronume care se referă la obiectul unei propoziții sau unei clauze. Astfel, în propoziția că omul se gândește foarte mult la el însuși, pronumele însuși este reflexiv. O altă definiție a reflexivului denotă un verb folosit transitiv cu pronumele reflexiv ca obiect direct, ca și pârghia franceză "să se ridice" sau engleza pentru a se îmbrăca. Reflexivul este, de asemenea, sau referitor la un reflex.
