O pădure secundară este o zonă forestieră sau pădure care a re-crescut după o perturbare majoră, cum ar fi incendiul, infestarea insectelor, recoltarea lemnului sau vântura, până când a trecut o perioadă lungă de timp, astfel încât efectele perturbării nu mai sunt evidente.
