Speculație

Speculația este practica angajării în tranzacții financiare riscante, în încercarea de a profita de fluctuațiile pe termen scurt sau mediu ale valorii de piață a unui bun comercializabil, cum ar fi un instrument financiar, în loc să încerce să profite de atributele financiare subiacente încorporate în instrument ca câștiguri, dobânzi sau dividende de capital.
