Comity
In der Gesetzgebung ist die Staatsangehörigkeit gesetzliche Gegenseitigkeit - der Grundsatz, dass eine Zuständigkeit bestimmte Höflichkeiten an andere Nationen ausdehnen wird, insbesondere durch die Anerkennung der Gültigkeit und Wirkung ihrer Exekutiv-, Legislativ- und Gerichtsakte. Der Begriff bezieht sich auf die Idee, dass die Gerichte nicht in einer Weise handeln sollten, die die Zuständigkeit, Gesetze oder Gerichtsentscheidungen einer anderen Gerichtsbarkeit erniedrigt.
