Wiederholbarkeit
Wiederholbarkeit oder Test-Retest-Zuverlässigkeit ist die Variation der Messungen, die von einer einzelnen Person oder einem Instrument auf demselben Gegenstand und unter denselben Bedingungen durchgeführt wurden. Eine weniger-als-perfekte Test-Retest-Zuverlässigkeit führt zu Test-Retest-Variabilität. Eine solche Variabilität kann beispielsweise durch intraindividuelle Variabilität und Intra-Beobachter-Variabilität verursacht werden. Eine Messung kann wiederholt werden, wenn diese Variation kleiner ist als einige vereinbarte Grenze. Test-Retest-Variabilität wird praktisch beispielsweise bei der medizinischen Überwachung von Bedingungen eingesetzt. In diesen Situationen gibt es oft eine vorgegebene "kritische Differenz", und für Unterschiede in überwachten Werten, die kleiner als diese kritische Differenz sind, kann die Möglichkeit der Vor-Test-Variabilität als alleinige Ursache der Differenz zusätzlich zu, für Beispiele, Veränderungen bei Krankheiten oder Behandlungen.
