Adjudicators
A judge is a person who judges the participants in non-objective criteria such as appearance, posture, elegance, accuracy, active competition, hits, etc. during a competition. While, for example, times, widths, velocities or overturned hurdles can be determined unequivocally, it is necessary, for example, for people who, on the basis of their observation, give a score in competitions in the dance sport. In order to avoid injustices, a plurality of value judges are used and an overall evaluation is calculated from their individual evaluations. Depending on the value type, different calculation systems are used for this purpose. If there are no points but placings, the majority system can be applied, as is the case, for example, in dance sports.
