The bugle (from the French bugle, this English bugle, hunting horn, because it was made with buffalo horn, and this from the Latin bucŭlus, (young ox)) is a wind instrument, encompassed in the section of metals . It is similar in design to the bugle, but smaller in size. It also has a cup-shaped mouth and a bell-shaped pavilion. The nozzle (metal or copper) is semi-spherical. The sound it produces is sharp. Usually, the bugle has no valves, which means that it only produces natural harmonics. However, some clarinets have a valve that lowers a fourth pitch. The most common trumpet is the tuning in Si ♭ (flat). In Peru, the bugle has a great length, reaching up to 4 meters in length. It has a very characteristic and harmonic sound. The clarín cajamarquino or "Qewayllo" is mainly touched in the celebration of carnival. There are also the "uongos" or clarín of Junín and the "habaspa Sisán" of the region of Andahuaylas.

El clarín o bugle (del francés bugle, este del inglés bugle , cuerno de caza, porque se hacía con cuerno de búfalo, y este del latín bucŭlus, (buey joven) ) es un instrumento de viento, englobado en la sección de los metales. Es semejante en su diseño a la corneta, pero de menor tamaño. También cuenta con una embocadura en forma copa y un pabellón acampanado. La boquilla (de metal o cobre) es semiesférica. El sonido que produce es agudo. Por lo general, el clarín no tiene válvulas, lo que significa que sólo produce armónicos naturales. Sin embargo, algunos clarines tienen una válvula que baja una cuarta la afinación. El clarín más común es el afinado en Si ♭ (bemol). En Perú, el clarín tiene una gran longitud, llegando a tener hasta 4 metros de largo. Posee un sonido bastante característico y armónico. El clarín cajamarquino o "Qewayllo" es principalmente tocado en la fiesta de carnaval. También existen el "uongos" o clarín de Junín y el "habaspa Sisán" de la región de Andahuaylas.
