Hot

Calor

Heat is defined as the form of energy that is transferred between different bodies or different zones of the same body that are at different temperatures, however in thermodynamics generally the term heat simply means transfer of energy. This flow of energy always occurs from the body of higher temperature to the body of lower temperature, the transfer occurring until both bodies are in thermal equilibrium. The energy can be transferred by different transfer mechanisms, these are radiation, conduction and convection, although in most of the actual processes all are present to a greater or lesser degree. It should be noted that bodies have no heat, but thermal energy. Energy exists in several forms. In this case we focus on heat, which is the process by which energy can be transferred from one system to another as a result of the temperature difference.
