The definition of ipil in the dictionary is a large, leguminous tree from the Philippine Islands, with opposite and winged leaves, ovate and hairless leaflets, panicle flowers, tubular chalice with ten stamens, single-peaked corolla, and coriaceous legume, shaped like sickle, two valves and three or four seeds.
